| Austin's tenacious attitude and talents on the mound make him one of Tennessee's most successful high school pitchers and one our teams unquestioned leaders. Through April of 2012's school season his pitching record stands at 6-0 with 1 save. He has thrown 38 IP, 56 K, 10 BB, 16 H, and 2 ER. He also threw his first no-hitter at the varsity level. Offensively, he continues to pound the baseball with a .456 BA, .521 OBP, & .754 Slg %. A true student-athlete, Austin also excels in the classroom carrying a 3.78 GPA and scored 25 ACT on his first attempt.
