| Austin works extremely hard and takes great pride in his catching skills. He has shown steady improvement on his pop time reducing it from 2.4 to 2.15 in the past year. He blocks the ball well and continues to reduce wasted motion in his release and throwing motion. He also continues to work on his hitting and earned the starting job on his varsity team for the 2012 season. Austin is an honor roll student at Creek Wood High School. He currently is carrying a 3.8 GPA through his sophomore year. Austin lives in McEwen with parents Tami and Joey and team mascot Gia, the English Bulldog. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
