17u Bulldogs Looking for Players for 2009 Summer

The 17u Brentwood Bulldogs are currently looking for top players to fill our roster for the 2009 summer season. Any interested players need to go to the Brentwood Bulldogs website, click on the "Contact Us" link and then fill out the player information form. Bulldogs lose to KBC in Panther Wood Bat Finals

The Worth Bulldogs lost 8-1 to a tough Kentucky Baseball Club team on Sunday in the Panthers Wood Bat Classic Championship game in Chattanooga.

Hickman Earns 2nd Team All District Honors

Congrats to Neil Hickman. The freshman catcher/DH earned 2nd team all district honors for his play on the field with DCA this season. Great job Neil!

Snyder Gets Win for Father Ryan

Landon Snyder picked up his first varsity win of the season for the Irish on Friday against LaVergne High School in the Grand Slam Challenge tournament. Landon threw 66 pitches over 5 innings scattering 3 hits and one run while striking out 2. Great job Landon!

2008 Bulldogs

The 2008 Bulldog roster has been set. We want to thank all 23 players who turned out for the tryouts. We saw some talent and hustle from everyone and had some very tough decisions pairing the group down to the final roster. Congratulations to Jackson, James, Kyle, Cody, Josh, Neil, Garrett, Keith, Landon, Phillip, Elliott, Austin, and Brad on making the 2008 team. The Coaches are excited about our potential and look forward to getting started in 2008!

Bulldog Season Ends with Loss at NABF World Series

The Bulldog season came to an end Friday night with a tough loss to the Ohio Extreme Yankees in the NABF World Series. The Bulldogs were down 10-1 but battled back to pull within 2 runs before running out of time ending the game 12-10. Kyle Chandler, Cody Connally, Josh Henkle, and Landon Snyder each had 3 hits for the Bulldogs. Josh Henkle was a homerun away from hitting for the cycle finishing the game with a single, double, triple, and 3 RBI's. Cody Connally finished with a single, 2 doubles and 3 RBI's.

Worth Bulldogs Win Music City Sizzler Tournament

After losing to the St. Louis Dugouts in the morning game by a score of 4-3, the Bulldogs bounced back to beat the Dugouts and win the tournament championship by a score of 10-7. In the morning game, Landon Snyder pitched an outstanding game allowing only 2 hits in 6 innings and went 2-3 at the plate with a double and 2 RBI's. In the afternoon rematch, Sean Seever went the distance on the mound scattering 4 hits with 4 K's. 8 Bulldogs had hits for a total of 12 for the team. James Butts helped lead the defense with two great double plays.

Chandler Named to All District Team

Congratulations to MLK Royals Freshman Kyle Chandler who was named to the All District team. He finished the high school season leading MLK in walks, stolen bases, runs scored, and 3rd in batting average. Great job Kyle!

ALL-BULLDOG BATTERIES AT LIPSOMB

The Bulldogs provided the starting pitchers and catchers in the Brentwood Academy-David Lipscomb game last night. Drew Floyd (4-0) picked up the win and Thomas Lundborg was the catcher for BA. Ben Brewer caught for the Mustangs and Ryan Emery (1-1) got the loss, but did get a triple in the 5-2 game.
